Amazing health and science news as we find out that there may be a second person cured of HIV after getting a stem cell transplant.  A man known as the “London patient” had a stem cell transplant from a donor who had a natural immunity to HIV.  The transplant changed his immune system and gave him the donor’s HIV resistance.  Betsy McKay, senior writer at Wired, joins us for how it all worked.

Finally, a story with a happy ending. Two California sisters ages 5 and 8 are safely back home with their parents after being lost in the woods for 44 hours. Leia and Caroline Carrico relied on some wilderness training they had to keep warm and dry after getting lost on a hike.  They spoke to the media to recount their ordeal and it might be the cutest thing you’ve heard in a long time.  My producer Miranda joins us to break down the story.
