たとえ馬鹿にされても…

(ルカ 5:1-7 ALIVE訳)ガラリヤ湖――「おい！押すな！」 誰もがイエスの話す“神の教え”をなるべく近くで聞きたいと押し合う。(2)イエスの目には浜辺にある２艘そうの小舟が映った。どうやら小舟の持ち主である漁師たちは、網あみの手入れをしているようだ。(3)その内、１艘そうの持ち主であったシモンと話しをつけた。 うっし、どさっ・・・その小舟にイエスが乗るとさっそく腰をすえた。何を始めるかと思えば、そこから教え始めたではないか！そう、邪魔されないためにとったイエスの解決策だったのだ。(4)イエスが教え終えると――「シモン！もうちょい沖に出て網あみを投げてみな！魚が獲れっぞ！」(5)「先生・・・漁師である俺たちが夜通し働いて小魚一匹獲れなかったんでっせ。でもあんたが言うんなら・・・」(6)そらよっと・・・ピシャッ 網あみは勢いよく広がって沈んでゆく。シモンは慣れた手つきで網あみを巻き上げる・・・「！」「んぐっ・・・！ふんぐぅっ！！・・・ぬ”ぅぅぅ！！！」網あみがはち切れんばかりの大漁だ！！！(7)「お、おい！手を貸してくれ！」 そう漁師仲間たちを呼ぶと彼らは急いで応援に来た。――小舟に分けて水揚げしたが、どちらも獲物(えもの)の重さで沈みそうだ・・・！

個人的な言葉を聞く

(ルカ 5:4 ALIVE訳)イエスが教え終えると――「シモン！もうちょい沖に出て網あみを投げてみな！魚が獲れっぞ！」

選ばれた者

（ヨハネ 15:16 ALIVE訳)おまえたちが俺を選んだのではない。俺が、おまえたちを選んだのだ！そして任命した。だから、おまえたちは行って、いつまでも残る、すばらしい実を結ぶ。また、俺の名を使って父さん神に求めるものは、何でも叶えられる。

比べない

(ローマ 12:2 ALIVE訳)世間の人たちの生活態度や習慣をまねてはいけない。むしろ、すること考えることすべての面で、生き生きとした、全く新しい別人となるのだ。 そうすれば、神の道がどんなに自分を満足させてくれるか、わかるようになる。

(ルカ 5:7a ALIVE訳)「お、おい！手を貸してくれ！」そう漁師仲間たちを呼ぶと彼らは急いで応援に来た。

収穫は多くある

(ルカ 5:7b ALIVE訳)――小舟に分けて水揚げしたが、どちらも獲物(えもの)の重さで沈みそうだ・・・！

(マタイ 9:37 ALIVE訳)たくさんの実が熟じゅくしているのに、収穫する働き手があまりにも足りない。

Even If You Look Ridiculous…

(Luke 5:1-7 MSG)(1-3) Once when he was standing on the shore of Lake Gennesaret, the crowd was pushing in on him to better hear the Word of God. He noticed two boats tied up. The fishermen had just left them and were out scrubbing their nets. He climbed into the boat that was Simon’s and asked him to put out a little from the shore. Sitting there, using the boat for a pulpit, he taught the crowd. (4) When he finished teaching, he said to Simon, “Push out into deep water and let your nets out for a catch.” (5-7) Simon said, “Master, we’ve been fishing hard all night and haven’t caught even a minnow. But if you say so, I’ll let out the nets.” It was no sooner said than done—a huge haul of fish, straining the nets past capacity. They waved to their partners in the other boat to come help them. They filled both boats, nearly swamping them with the catch.

Hearing The Word That’s Personal

(Luke 5:4 MSG) When he finished teaching, he said to Simon, “Push out into deep water and let your nets out for a catch.”

Chosen One

(John 15:16 NLT) You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.

Not Comparing

(Romans 12:2 NLT) Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Harvest Is Plentiful
