Forgotten Cinema

Event Horizon

Listen Later

Mike Butler and Mike Field are taking round trip through Hell, via a spaceship on the final episode of Forgotten Horror!

Join the Mikes as they discuss the 1997 sci-fi horror film, Event Horizon, directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and starring Laurence Fishburne and Sam Neill. They'll talk about the original 130 minute cut of this film and how due to a delay in James Cameron's Titanic, this film was moved to fill its release spot, giving Anderson barely any time to finish filming and editing the film. Not to mention that for various reasons, the film's ending had to be reshot as well. Despite the odds, as well as a myriad of other issues with the film, the Mikes find this film to be enjoyable and filled with unrealized potential.

So, prep the engines, please notice the escape pods to the left and right of the spacecraft and start the self-destruction of Forgotten Cinema.
