From the hotel room

In this episode, I travel to Oklahoma to do two campus tours.  One of those at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater OK and the University of Oklahoma in Norman.  What happens on this trip is the culmination of poor planning and preparation and the most freakish winter weather event that no one at the National Weather Service could have forecast.

There must be a run on Jeep PCMs because this is taking a long time.  Far too long that it should.  This is no different than everything else I've bought for the Jeep including a new seat belt fastener that took two or three months to get.

I got accepted to the University of Alabama.  Wow, that happened rather fast.  I didn't have to wait long before I got the email.  Soon after, I got a package with all sorts of stuff.  That is all below the fold.  I'm still waiting for acceptance letters from three other universities I applied at and I'll likely not hear from them until the first of the year.

This was crammed into my post box.  It kind of looks like a old school briefcase, something that I used when I was in middle and high school.  I might buy a briefcase again, like this one.

This is one of those.  It's a foldout of what I need to do in order to go there.  It includes links to schedule a tour (sometime in February) and access my personalized University of Alabama page with links to their online platform for homework and such, Crimson email and others.  It also as links to what courses I need to take to complete my degree.  I'll talk about that in a future episode of Everyday Tracks.

I've never seen anyone get a Certificate of Admission before.  Have you seen something like this before?

Yeah, schools still have fight songs.  It's been so long since I attended a school that had a fight song, I kind of forgot about them.  Click if you don't QR (and with the referral removed for your protection).

There's nothing wrong with learning a new skill.  At one university I applied at, it would seem I'll need to acquire a skill that it way outside of my understanding and probably age.  I'll reveal that in a future episode of Everyday Tracks.

I began having issues with the electronic throttle control in September (really, on the one year anniversary).  It finally stopped working completely.  I explain what I've been though thus far with it.

In previous episodes, I've gone through financials on moving to two different places and how I could sustain living there.  I've added to that list and I'm using college transfer to make it happen.  I'll explain three colleges I've applied at and why.

As discussed in episode 19 of Everyday Tracks, I fixed another engine coolant leak.  I want to make sure that the leak is solved, so I take a trip to where I bought the Jeep.  I might even trade this Jeep in for another Jeep, a 2012 model.
