SEO makes my brain hurt. Paying for great SEO apparently costs several multiples of the average mortgage payment (something I learned in this interview!) Can you still use Twitter to find voice over work, network and build relationships? The short answer... yes!

There's a lot of crazy, negative stuff happening on the Twitter platform, but there's also a lot of good if you know how to look for and find it.

For any voice actor working in the character space, including gaming and animation, Twitter is especially key for your marketing efforts. There's a thriving community of character voice actors on the platform and jobs, auditions and opportunities are posted on a regular basis.

Voice123 isn't a casting site built like any of the others. If you want to make it work, you need to learn how to use it properly. You need to understand how the casting and search algorithms work.

Using the site properly can lead to great success. Using it incorrectly can send you straight to the basement of their ranking system... and that's not a good place to be.
