Meet Ellee Picken, who married her childhood sweetheart, with a life seemingly mapped out before her before embarking on a deeply personal and transformative journey of love, self-discovery, and reinvention.

Beneath the surface, she grappled with a profound truth about her identity—realizing that she was living a lie and identifying as gay. After the courage to confront this truth, she divorced her husband and started her brave journey to rediscover herself.

This journey led her to find a new partner, relocate across the country, and start a new career as a holistic counsellor, dedicated to supporting others on their paths of self-discovery and healing.

As a fit, healthy 37 year old Police Officer, the last thing Chantal expected was a medical emergency suffering a stroke which left her bed ridden and unable to walk.

She promised herself she would do whatever it took to recover and be back riding horses by her 40th birthday. Two and a half years later she achieved her goal.

This episode sees a woman fight for her life, with strength, determination and resilience finding a new purpose in life and discovering for herself what success really means.
