In my last episode, I talked about how there is no such thing as “work–life balance” — there is just life, and work is one area within it.
Since then, life delivered… material. 😅 In this episode, I share how a few intense weeks of conversations at work and in relationships pulled me off balance and forced me to look even more deeply at my communication style, my boundaries, and my patterns.
We explore:
• Why the golden rule (“treat others the way you want to be treated”) doesn’t always work in real life
• What happens when you clearly state your boundaries… and people ignore them anyway
• How some people turn your feedback into “you’re the problem”
• The difference between freedom of expression and using “I’m just being honest” as an excuse to be unkind
• The two extremes I used to live in: fighting back vs. staying quiet and taking all the blame
• How I now anchor into my core values: collaboration, respect, and freedom
This episode is an invitation to:
• Reflect on your communication patterns
• Notice where your boundaries are being crossed
• Stay true to your essence, even when others stay calm, collected… and dismissive
I’ll also share how I support my clients (and myself) to build clearer communication, healthier boundaries, and more human workplaces—where collaboration is real, not just a buzzword.
Because work is not separate from life. It’s one more area inside the big bubble of your existence. And when you get clearer with yourself, every relationship—work, family, friends, clients—shifts with you.
