In this episode listeners will join Lacey in conversation with Anna Heil, Program Director at the Ely Folk School. Anna Heil is the Program Director at the Ely Folk School, where she works with instructors, volunteers, and students to build community and provide culturally relevant learning experiences to our area. Although Anna was born and raised in Southern California, she has lived in the Ely area for about a decade now and has built a full life of close friendships, outdoor recreation, and community involvement. The through line through her last ten years have remained her passion for experiential education and her enthusiasm for learning and adventure. When not at the Ely Folk School, Anna can be found romping in the woods with her puppy, jumping in various bodies of water, and of course, listening to podcasts.
