Welcome to episode 64, our penultimate pod before Xmas! This week Emma has a couple of traditional Christmas Ghost Stories for us. The first is a Wedding Night game of Hide and Seek that goes horribly wrong, while the second is a classic tale of fiction about the game Smee. Anish, talks about a true crime mass murder spree over Christmas. His story is sure to add a dash of depression to your winter holidays, as his killer, Ronald Gene Simmons, has no redeeming characteristics or qualities. We also discuss how Emma finally convinced Anish to watch It’s a Wonderful Life, and we include a review of the Netflix show, Klaus. In regards to Liverpool, we talk Champion’s League advancement and another win in the EPL :)

We welcome you to episode 63! This week Emma goes in-depth about a serial killer and rapist, Earle Nelson. He had plenty of nicknames, “Gorilla Man,” “Gorilla Killer,” and the “Dark Strangler.” It is a dark tale…just in time for the holidays. Anish’s story is the urban legend of Frau Perchta. A Pagan goddess that was considered the “Shiny or Bright One,” but Christianity and some authors changed it to a much darker legend. Definitely have a theme going here ;) We also discuss a bunch of new trailers that dropped recently (WW84, Doctor Who, Lost in Space 2, Free Guy) and the premiere of Making It season 2. As for your LFC update, we talk about a great start to the month of December!

It's episode 60! This week Emma has a two part true crime story about an Australian Outlaw, Ned Kelly. In part one, she sets the stage on Ned's upbringing and his brushes with the law, directly and indirectly. Anish's story in an in-between about Oregon's Crater Lake. His tale has murder, cryptids, gods, disappearances, and well, everything in between. Since it's International break, there isn't a Liverpool update. However, that void has been filled by Disney+'s Mandalorian and the bingeing of Stumptown, Better of Ted, & Penny Dreadful ;)

Welcome to Episode 59! This week Emma discusses the history around Turnbull Canyon in Whittier, California. Let's just say that the canyon has a little bit of everything. Anish's story is about a serial killer who used the Great Smog of 1952 to hide his murders. His tale is about the Rillington Strangler. We also chat about a couple of movies (Spiderman: Far from Home and The Exorcist), another Netflix binge (Man like Mobeen), and the first battle between Liverpool & Man City.
