September 03, 2020IT, Sexism and God - W/ Tanner Vaughan, CEO of an IT company.Yallllll welcome back! This one is so good. Eric and Ashley are here to interview an old friend, Tanner Vaughan. He started his own IT company 7 years go, and since Covid started, business has been booming for him. We try to talk IT stuff but quickly change lanes to talk sexism in the work place, the future of the work place; be it in an office of working from home. Then of course we talk about God starting at the 1 hour mark. I genuinely believe the best segment this show has ever recorded takes place this episode, and I said zero words during it... Ashley and Tanner share a splendid discourse while Eric and I sit back and learn a thing of two... hopefully you will too, enjoy!...more1h 32minPlay
August 28, 2020Lets talk about Movies with Ashley Adams and Dylan Ellis, filmmakers and former UT Film StudentsYalllll welcome back! We’ve done a few darker topics recently so we’re gunna lighten it up this week. We’ve got a trio of awesomeness: Eric, Ashley and Dylan are here to talk movies. Why do we, as a culture, love movies so much? You’ll find out quickly, I don’t watch near as many as these three do, and Ashley and Dylan both have been involved in making full length films, so they bring legitimate experience to the table. Dylan has been on the show before, but we didn’t talk about God then, so of course I had to bring it up near the end to cap things off. Thanks for listening, enjoy!...more1h 21minPlay
August 20, 2020Sex Work DiscussionYallllll welcome back! This week I have the best trio of hosts possible. Vance, Eric and Ashley help walk a tight rope through the topic of Sex Work. We all learn something along the way, and literally change our points of view as the episode goes on. For example we all stopped calling it prostitution and actively tried to call it "Sex Work" because we realized the inherent negative connotation to the term "prostitute." We navigated some very dark waters, politely disagreed with each other, and we learned something along the way, which was truly amazing to be apart of. We close it off with talking to Eric and Ashley about their views on the death penalty because they couldn't make it on last weeks episode. Thanks for listening, enjoy!...more1h 22minPlay
August 14, 2020Dial M for Murder : Vance is here to help me interview his wife, a trial lawyer in capital murder cases. This one gets a little dark.Yallllll welcome back! We’re gunna get dark this week and talk about death, race and religion... you know... fun party conversation topics 😉 Vance’s wife is a lawyer who represents murderers. So, we ask her everything we can think of, then debate the death penalty itself, and talk about the racial implications of our justice system. To cap it all off, we talk about God, as we tend to do. Thanks for listening, enjoy!...more1h 34minPlay
August 07, 2020Winging itYallllll welcome back! So, things happen and sometimes guests cancel but that's ok, cuz I have a ton of half baked ideas to throw at you. July 24, 2020The most famous person we know : Grant Brooke a world traveling celebrity and old friend.Yalllllll welcome back! Grant Brooke started a company in Africa that grew to over 1,000 employees, valued at over 30 million dollars, and has helped countless people to improve their lives along the way. Grant's worldview is unique and after some pre-show discussion, we decided to ditch the boring business related questions, and instead, Grant agreed to get weird with us. So please join us on the ride that includes a variety of topics including Covid, life in Africa, Donald Trump, the supply chain of an African drug called Khat, and finishing off with a healthy discussion on the existence of God. This one takes so many left turns, I can't possibly put them all here... Enjoy!...more1h 17minPlay

July 11, 2020Arguments and Debating : Why do we love it so much? W/ Eric HYalllll welcome back! Arguing, we all do it, and we do it all the time. In bars with our friends, online with strangers, with our significant others and our parents. We argue alot, so the question is why? We've done it from the very beginning about topics like God and politics, but we also argue about meaningless things like sports and food. We watch arguments on tv from courtroom dramas to cooking shows where they debate who's dish was better. We have plenty of political debate shows and sports argument shows. We looooove arguing, why is that? Thankfully I have Eric on this week to help navigate this topic, because he is the Gregg Popovichto to my Mike D'Antoni. Absolutely solid episode right here, thanks for listening!...more49minPlay

He has an interesting perspective on God and how he interacts with God and I've been looking forward to having him on for a while now. Definitely some strong language here, so buckle up, and enjoy!...more1h 8minPlay
