  • PODCAST 114 - BOBBY FERRY (-16-)
Bobby Ferry of the band 16 joins us for another action packed episode of the podcast.  A few years ago, our bands toured together, traveled in the same van, shared a lot of the same gear, slept in the the same motel room and survived a few harrowing overnight drive. It all adds to life's rich pastiche.

  • PODCAST 112 - RALPH SCHMIDT (ULTHA)
This is a very special episode because I was able to spend about 90 minutes of uninterrupted time talking to my brother Ralph Schmidt of the great band Ultha.  Though Ralph and I do not have any blood relation, I consider him my brother. People come and go from our lives, but Ralph and I have remained close for two decades.

  • PODCAST 107 - DYAMI BRYANT ABC NO RIO EPISODE
Dyami Bryant joins me to discuss the future of ABC NO RIO and the "Final Show" that happened this past weekend.

ABC NO RIO is a social center located in NYC's Lower East Side and was founded in 1980. In addition the the weekly hardcore punk matinees, ABC NO RIO features a dark room, art gallery, silkscreening setup, zine library and public computer lab. Despite the encroachment of the dollar-hungry yuppie horde, they continue to prevail.  As more and more of New York's culture is torn down and replaced by generic capitalism, institutions like ABC NO RIO battle to survive and are as crucial as ever.
