One of the simplest joys in life, at least for many of us (I’m looking at you dog haters), is having a pet companion to keep us company. But adopting a pet comes with a lot of responsibility (now I’m looking at you, irresponsible dog owners), and it can be hard to know where to start. Today, Raj and Noah sit down with Rachael Ziering, founding executive director of Muddy Paws Rescue, and special guest Earl—their largest foster dog ever at 162 pounds—to make sure we know everything and anything about pet adoption, before we bring a new furry friend into our homes.
Update: Since we recorded this episode, Earl has been adopted!
