President Xi's already in the air. Last night was the state dinner to end all state dinners — sea bass, Reagan china, red blossoms, a bald eagle statue, and a guest list stuffed with Musk, Huang, Altman, Bezos, Cook. Toasts to "friendship." Flyovers. Marine One. The whole opera. Behind the closed door it was not opera.

Secret Service said it was TOO UNSAFE to fly to Oklahoma. President Trump's response? "GET YOUR ASSES IN THAT CAR." Elsewhere- Media continues to downplay the FlyDubai incident and avoid the word nobody wants to say. Cast it as a workplace dispute with bad optics!

Re: latest on the Flydubai hijacking yesterday-Much of the press is writing it as a workplace stabbing, an "altercation," a mental-health mystery, and a think-piece on cockpit-door policy. The weirdest part isn't the near-disaster. It's the vocabulary. Aand...the same outlets that won't say hijack will absolutely say the Defense secretary, Pete Hegseth is a threat.

WEASEL WORDS, WARRIOR WORDS

A Dubai–Tel Aviv Flydubai flight turned into a mid-air knife fight. Co-pilot stabs the captain. Plane drops like a stone. Hijack code goes out. Passengers smash into the cockpit and pin the attacker before the jet can become a crater. Heroes in coach. Israel calls it terror. The airline says: wait for the investigation. .

SpaceX just put the biggest rocket ever built into Earth orbit on the first try that counted. Then they brought it home early because they're not idiots. Meanwhile, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told a room full of college kids that the same class of people who just punched a reusable 400-foot steel tube into space are coming for their internships, their tap water, and the lights. The only thing standing between the kids and destitution is… the government.
