  • ERN Presents TNT On BTR - The DOUBLE Go Home Edition
This has been a loaded week in the wrestling business. Saturday, a tragedy occured in Mexico when Luis Angel Salazar, known as Principe Aero, a masked luchador, suddenly died in the ring. In happier news, the NWA crowned a new Television Champion, United Wrestling Network announced the brackets for their championship tournament and it is loaded with well known names.
There was an AEW star who was pulled from last night's Dynamite. We will tell you who it was and why they were pulled, although we're actually pretty sure you can figure that out based on other reports we have done. The Netflix series GLOW was suddenly cancelled due to COVID-19 but before it ended there was some serious discussion among the actors of color on the show concerning their characters and we will talk about that. An old friend of Steve's just made a partnership deal with his wrestling promotion.
Monday and Tuesday provided go home shows for both RAW and Impact, with Bound For Glory being this Saturday and Hell In A Cell being this Sunday. In addition, The Good Brothers had a show that followed Impact which included an appearance by a good friend of ours. The G1 Climax finished this week so we'll talk about that as well. We also have a special birthday wish for a dear friend of ours.
Katie, Steve and Sean have a loaded evening planned for you, you don't want to miss it.

  • ERN Presents LIVE From The Dean's Den - The Collective Outbreak
For several weeks we talked about the Game Changer Wrestling series of events known as The Collective. Since then at least three of the wrestlers has tested positive for COVID 19. We'll talk about the reports, who has tested positive and what GCW is saying about the situation.
The strange case of Joseph Mehan, AKA Joey Ryan, just gets stranger by the day. We'll talk about the latest lawsuit brought by the sleeze invoking performer. In New Japan, the A Block of the G1 Climax ended last night with a turn as shocking as EVIL leaving Los Ingornobles De Japon to join Bullet Club. B Block wraps up this weekend and we will preview the matches and discuss who we want to see in the final.
Why was Seth Rollins moved to SmackDown? we have the answer to that. What is Goldberg's contract status? We have the answer to that too.
We don't have all the answers, but we have quite a few, and we'll give those to you this week.

  • ERN Presents Rampage Rants TNT On BTR - It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, Etc. World
We've talked over the last several months about the insanity that has surrounded the wrestling business since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. As things change and fans, to a limited extent, are allowed back into events, it seems the idea is becoming, at least among the independents, who can be the most over the top. This past weekend in Indianapolis, The Collective, a group of events happened, many of them originated under the GCW banner. There were some controversial situations that occured during the event, two of which involved brothers who have a well known name. One of the incidents even made legendary wrestler/manager "Dirty" Dutch Mantell sit up and take notice.
Speaking of controversy, it seems Dylan "Lars Sullivan" Miley can't seem to stay away from it. The current SmackDown star, who returned last week after a long hiatus due to videos being leaked when some disparaging internet postings were revealed seems to have done it again, this time with someone who was involved in his rehabilitation efforts. Is Adeel "Mustafa Ali" Alam being buried again after having been revealed the week before as the leader of Retribution? Did Mercedes Martinez escape being saddled with a bad gimmick name by being promoted? What about Mia Yim and her name? And what were those deleted tweets from Andrade and Charlotte Flair? Did you get in the Thunderdome? Well you might STILL be in it, even when you actually aren't. Meanwhile, an independent promotion in Alabama is being forced to leave for what appears to be some very poor reasons.
WWE and AEW both have their eye on some talent they'd like to possibly add to their rosters. Aron Stevens talks about taking over booking for Championship Wrestling From Hollywood. John Cena has been keeping busy with a new wife and a new endorsement deal.
Katie, Steve and Sean will discuss these stories and even more tonight.

  • BTR Presents The ERN/TNT/W.A.R. SEVENTH Anniversary!
Seven years ago, when the idea of broadcasting on the internet was in its infancy, Gabe Hubbard came up with the idea of interviewing professional wrestlers live on a website. With help from people he became friends with on social media, also an emerging format, he created a show he called Pro Wrestling Roundtable. Gabe never felt comfortable with the idea of being "the voice" of the show, so he recruited his brother Sean, who wrestled, managed and announced under the name of Sadistic Sean David to be the first voice of the show. Gabe knew he needed a strong cohost who also had a history in the business so he contacted someone he worked with in a central Illinois promotion, Referee and sometime promoter Steve Cain, known as "The Dean Of Wrestling Referees" who had many years of experience in both radio and televsion.
The show had a variety of people in the third spot, but eventually a fan and regular caller to the show, Katie Mason, made such an impression that she was asked to permanently take the third spot. She refers to herself as "Khaotic Katie", "The Fan's Perspective" and "The reason why this show will NEVER be a bag of d****". She provides a great counterbalance to not just Sean and Steve, but to our guests. She has no fear of not only getting between Sean and Steve but also speaking her mind to even our most famous guests, as her epic conversation with the late Joe "Road Warrior Animal" Laurainitis showed.
Scheduled to join us tonight (Subject to change) are, ECW stars Bill Alfonso & Tommy Cairo, Memphis legend "Superstar" Bill Dundee, GLOW girls April "Royal Hawaiian" Hom, Jeanne "Hollywood" Basone, Annette "Jungle Woman" Maroquin, Cheryl "Lightning" Rusa, Kuiopo Little Feather and possibly some surprises.
Join us as we celebrate our love of professional wrestling and the people who make it happen.

  • ERN Presents LIVE From The Dean's Den - Adolph Vince Is Coming
Note: Lee is off this week, therefore this week's show will only be a 30 minute show. There most likely will not be a show next week.
We have talked about Vince Mc Mahon and his anger about the WWE performers making money on third party sites such as Twitch and Cameo. Well news came out today regarding Vince's next move and there was a backlash among fans, who knows what will happen with the boys and girls themselves.
Vince apparently has also reset the tenative location for next year's WrestleMania. Will it happen? We'll have to see. We'll also be talking about G-1, Bloodsport and any further GCW information. The G1 standings, Gatoh Move ChocoPro and many more items.

  • ERN Presents Rampage Rants TNT On BTR - Burn Your WWE Draft Card!
Rampage Productions Proudly Presents An Evolution Radio Network EXCLUSIVE - One of the LONGEST running Professional Wrestling related podcasts on ALL of the interwebs...7 Years STRONG!  Rampage Rants Thursday Night Turmoil LIVE & EXCLUISIVLEY LIVE on Blog Talk Radio with your hosts "Sadistic" Sean David, "The Dean of Wrestling" Steve Cain, & "Khaotic" Katie Mason!
TONIGHT on Rampage Rants TNT LIVE in the ER: So we are off a pay per view, headed to ANOTHER pay per view, wrestlers are switching brands, and yet WWE is going to hold a DRAFT? We'll discuss why this is ANOTHER stupid Vince idea. Speaking of Vince, former WWE star Ryback, who has made his feelings about Vince and WWE quite clear has made another statement regarding when he thinks WWE will "possibly" become worth watching again.  In  the "Katie's Gonna Love This" department, someone whom she has regularly expressed her distaste for appears to be leaving the promotion they're working for. Eric Bischoff has responded to Dominick Dijack/Dijakovic/T-Bar/Whatever. Joey Ryan has returned, not to the wrestling ring, but to the courtroom. Is Triple H right or wrong to keep NXT on Wednesday? He has his opinion, we may have ours. What's it REALLY like to actually get in the Thunderdome. LIVE From The Dean's Den cohost Lee Walker described it last Friday and we're going to play it for those of you who may have missed it. It's VERY interesting. We'll also talk about the AEW video game, Miro talked about a lot of things recently, Batista had ANOTHER theme planned, and many more items. In what Sean is calling a RAMPAGE RANT you have to hear to believe he will be discussing what happens when you let marks influence decisions with titles and within promotions and why this is everything wrong with the wrestling busines in the year 2020 and MORE! All of this and so much more TONIGHT LIVE!

  • ERN Remembers Joe Laurinaitis - The PWR SLAM! 1st Anniversary
When we were gatting ready to celebrate our first anniversary we were trying to think of who we could bring on that would create that buzz, that indication that these guys are legit. As we talked about the various guests we had already had, none of them seemed to gives us that feeling that this is the one. Eventually one name seemed to keep coming up in discussion, the biggest name we could think of. We needed Animal!
The idea was easy enough, now the question was how do we execute it? Thankfully Steve knew Joe from their days in the Chicago based promotion Workd Wrestling Zone. It also helped that they were friends on Facebook too. So Steve sent Joe a message and asked if he would be willing to do a favor for an old friend. Within twenty minutes he got a yes from the tag team legend and the annual event known as Anniversary was born.
It's fitting that we play this tribute on the day Clash Of Champions occurs as The Road Warriors were involved in the very first Clash, which was programmed as a free TV event to rival the then WWF and WrestleMania. Joe was involved in seven of the twenty five Clash events.
Joe, we thank you for your time and most importantly your friendship. You will be missed.

  • ERN Presents WAR on BTR -Remembering A Legend AND A Friend- Joe Laurinaitis
This is a show we did not think we would be doing. We honestly felt whomever inherited this show from us would be doing it. Sadly that was not to be.
Early yesterday morning the calls started coming through that Joe Laurinaitis, Road Warrior Animal, had passed away. Steve made a quick call to our friend, Cauliflower Alley Club president B. Brian Blair, who sadly confirmed the news. Steve quickly started making the calls he has made numerous times over the years. Tonight, we will remember our friend with stories about our times with Joe. Also scheduled to join us live or prerecoreded will be (subject to changes beyond our control)
    B. Brian Blair
    Bill Apter
    Del Wilkes
    Bill Alfonso
    Fred Ottman
Later on we will talk about the Go Home edition of RAW, this week's AEW, a huge COVID-19 outbreak within all the major North American companies and more. Although this is a sad occaision we will stilltry to entertain you as best as we possibly can.
