  • ERN Presents LIVE From The Dean's Den - The Dome Vs. Everyone
This week the WWE experiment known as Thunderdome made it's debut. I will talk about the look of the dome on TV and what we could expect this weekend for SummerSlam and TV from here on out.
Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) the Joey Janela run promotion hosts its next event Saturday and I will talk about the upcoming matches which has some unusual matchups happening. Speaking of unusual matchups, This week's NJPW Strong, in addition to having the New Japan Cup 2020 USA finals has some interesting matches with people that are new to the company and a surprise return to the company, especially because it's taking place on US soil.
In addition I will talk about some on demand shows recently removed from WWE Network and any news that happens before I go live.

  • ERN Presents TNT On BTR - The Crime Blotter
This week we will start out discussing what is known as "stan" culture. Last Sunday, an obviously disturbed person who was part of this culture broke into the home of WWE star Daria Berenato, known to wrestling fans as Sonya DeVille. The list of items he had with him are very frightening. Then we got word that a former WWE star and son of a hall of famer may have been involved in criminal activity and as a result may suffer a very substantial penalty.
A major spoiler has broken regarding the upcoming Ring Of Honor taping as someone who you may have recently seen on TV is in  the city where taping is happening. Will there be ANOTHER husband and wife couple in AEW? A prominent WWE personality has announced her impending departure from the company. Last Friday on SmackDown, a character that people saw on TNA/Impact debuted. Does this mean ANOTHER former TNA/Impact character will be showing up at some point? Speaking of Impact, Jim Cornette recently got a question concerning the extracirricular activites of its owner. Hmmm...
While WWE announces its new virtual fan concept, AEW is announcing the opposite, the return of actual fans. We'll compare the two approaches and talk about what may or may not be "best for business". Speaking of business, WWE Network has removed some on demand shows very quietly. We'll tell you who the subject of the shows is and why they were removed.
Katie, Steve & Sean will relay all of these stories to you and more, tonight.

  • ERN Presents LIVE From The Dean's Den - Both Sides Of The Pacific
A few weeks ago I did a show that was supposed to talk about the resurgance of the Japanese wrestling scene in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to technical difficulties a full episode did not make air. This is my attempt to rectify that situation.
Since that episode NJPW has really kicked up their event schedule, but they aren't sticking to Japan. The NJPW Los Angeles dojo is now creating original content and I will talk about that tonight as some interesting people are showing up at the US tapings. In addition to NJPW and Stardom there are some other independent promotions in Japan that are also running that I will discuss.
Time permitting I will talk about some of the bigger names that are not only on major rosters but are also contracted to other organizations.

  • ERN Presents TNT On BTR - Remembering Kamala & Other Stories
On Sunday afternoon a voice that the public never really heard until later in his life was silenced. For years, Mississippi born James Harris played what would today be regarded as a stereotype, an African cannibalistic savage who, while he intimidated his opponents and the fans, didn't always seem to understand the rules of the sport he was competing in. While James was a soft spoken, gentle man who loved to laugh and sing, his alter ego, Kamala The Ugandan Savage, was an evil, silent brute who would demolish anyone who got in his way. We'll begin  this evening by remembering James, including commentary from Jerry Lawler about the creation of the character and George "The Animal" Steele talking about getting Kamala heat.
WWE Network has added several new promotions to their video vault that will begin airing this weekend. NXT saw the return of someone many people thought might not be coming back due to rumors surrounding him. Meanwhile, AEW saw a big star on the independent scene debut along with a former WWE talent, but not someone you might have expected. While New Japan Pro Wrestling has been making its slow climb back form COVID-19, a quirky little company has developed a cult following and is starting to draw some attention oustide of Japan. Steve recently saw a live video from the group and he will tell us about it. Speaking of New Japan, their US based show is bringing some top talent of their own, including someone many people thought had given up the business. MLW just signed a new distribution deal, Lana posted personal details about her and Miro on Instatgram  and apparently confirming a story about WrestleMania in San Diego. We'll discuss these and many other stories, including our alternate plans for those AEW weeks tonight.

  • ERN Presents LIVE From The Dean's Den - Sister Bliss?
Tonight I'm going to cover some items we didn't get to cover Thursday along with some fresh items. Someone who was named in the Speaking Out movement was none too happy about it.  A WWE employee whom we interviewed a few years back has introduced a motivational website and a line of products to go with it. Speaking of WWE, did last week's ending, along with a scene in the Extreme Rules "match" between Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman signal a long rumored change for a rather popular performer?
New Japan has been busy on both sides of the Pacific with events happening in Korakuen Hall and Los Angeles. We'll discuss the Summer Struggle Tour in Japan and the New Japan Cup USA tournament which will give the winner an eventual shot at IWGP US Champion Jon Moxley.
The daughter of a legend will be making her AEW debut this week along with an MLW star who has also shared our airwaves.
All these stories an more on this week's episode.

  • ERN Presents Rampage Rants TNT On BTR - Marty Jannetty - Public Enemy Number 1?
A few days ago, former Midnight Rocker Marty Jannetty made a very sensational claim regarding an alleged incident from his youth. We will examine the claims that have been made along with the fallout from the claims. Another sensational claim has also come out about a current star and  the source is someone we know very well.
Have you noticed Seth Rollins "cult" is a little short? So have we. We may have somewhat of an answer as to what has happened to that person. While we are watching Impact Wrestling we haven't ever actually seen viewership numbers - until now. We will talk ratings for all the current wresting shows on the air.
There is still fallout from the Speaking Out movement. One person was not happy to be exposed and another group is taking steps to try and make sure there is never a repeat.
Two former guests of ours have some good things going for them, one got signed by someone and the other started a product line based on a previous name.
We'll discuss the "new" concept RAW introduced this week, along with where they stole it from, the AEW Women's Tag Team Tournament and the surprises that happened on night 1. Also, Orange Cassidy SPEAKS! We'll talk all the shows and any other news that happened this week. Join Katie, Steve and Sean TONIGHT.

  • ERN Presents LIVE From The Dean's Den - Making An "Impact"
For quite a while Impact Wrestling, despite having some top tier talent has been considered the "weak sister" of the wrestling business, despite being the only option to WWE with an actual TV deal. However, multiple channel changes and numerous talent defections made the future of the alternative promotion doubtful, especially once All Elite Wrestling started running.
Once the coronavirus hit and basically shut down the industry, and in the case of WWE, forced them to make cuts that they probably would not have made in the current business environment, it became open season. AEW had already gotten the team they wanted when they signed FTR. They also picked up former NXT star Tino Sabbatelli, a guy who, if he wouldn't have gotten injured so much, including at least one concussion, probably would have been on the main roster. This still left a wealth of talent looking for a place to go.
Well when you not only own a wrestling promotion, but also your own network where the ad revenue gives you a bigger budget to work with. What do you do? You go on a buying spree, especially when there are guys who are recognized stars, a few of whom had worked under one or more of the banners Impact had used.
This week I'll examine the people Impact brought on board, their visual message to Vince McMahon and some other news in the wrestling world. This should be a good show

  • ERN Presents TNT On BTR -Stupid Sideburns From A 70s Stag Film And Other Things
This morning on Pat McAfee's show, fomer NXT champion Adam Cole blew up at the former NFL player turned TV host and sometimes WWE preshow contributor. There is a question whether this was a work or a shoot. If we can get the audio we will play it and let you judge for yourself.
This past weekend and week have been pretty big for wrestling, unless you are Vince McMahon and WWE, in which case you might want to take a step back and analyze everything, especially when your former employees are starting to no longer fear you and are spilling everything. With several former WWE employees jumping to one company in particular, but a couple more have gone to the other competative company, even the giant in Samford has to be somewhat concerned.
Speaking of joining companies, someone we've always been big fans of is trying to get on one of the top rosters in the company right now. We will tell you who it is and what company they want to join.
Wrestling Figures has released a sneak preview of an upcoming figure and it's eerie. RAW just lost one of its top stars this week. AAA has announced its next move to try and get back on track even during the pandemic.  We will discuss all these things and more, tonight.
