On "EWTN News Nightly" tonight: Two major Supreme Court decisions were made today. One protects religious freedom and liberties for those in the workforce and another rejects the use of race as a factor in college admissions. While Republican presidential candidates were quick to applaud the US Supreme Court’s decision tossing out the use of affirmative action in college admissions, with one saying “picking winners and losers based on race is fundamentally wrong,” President Joe Biden went before the cameras with an entirely different take, saying “discrimination still exists in America.” President and CEO of Becket Law, Mark Rienzi, joins to tell us about the ruling in favor of the Christian postal worker and whether the Supreme Court has also strengthened religious freedom for all Americans. Meanwhile, a recent poll by NBC News finds that 55% of voters would like to see US troops at the Southern border to stop drug smugglers, and 46% of voters polled said they would support a presidential candidate that would deploy troops to the border in an effort to deal with the migrant surge. Republican Congressman Pat Fallon, joins to tell us what he makes of this poll. Finally this evening, the feast of Saints Peter and Paul is about more than their lives. It also honors their martyrdom. EWTN Vatican Bureau Chief, Andreas Thonhauser, has more.
