In todayâs episode of Figuring Out, we have Kuljinder Dillon in conversation with Raj Shamani. Kuljinder is an Ex- Khalistani who is now an activist on a mission to raise awareness about the Khalistan movement and save the youth of our country from being brainwashed into engaging in anti-national activities.
In this episode, we discussed his journey, starting from his childhood, and how he got involved with Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and his team, eventually participating in anti-national activities. Kuljinder revealed how they were brainwashed into believing that Sikhs had been wronged in the country, which fueled anger and led them to commit various unlawful acts.
We then discussed why night bus services were stopped in Punjab, who Bhindranwale was, and how he influenced anti-national activities. Kuljinder talked about entering Darbar Sahib, his routine there, and how people within Darbar Sahib were funded and supplied with weapons. The conversation then shifted to Operation Blue Star, what it was, his role in the firing at the Golden Temple, and how he eventually escaped, crossed the border, and reached Pakistan.
Towards the end, we discussed his experiences in Pakistan, how he was sent back with weapons to form a group in India for anti-national activities, the crimes he committed, and his eventual arrest. Kuljinder also shared the pivotal moment when he realized he had been brainwashed and came to understand the reality. We concluded the podcast by discussing what we, as a nation, can do to protect our youth from being misled and falling into the trap of terrorism.
