This week on the Exciting & New podcast, Jason, Andy and Dana welcome Mike back on the podcast as they discuss the 1985 horror sequel A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge.  That's right.  Freddy is back and this time he is invading the real world.  So the guy that haunts your dreams doesn't really do this in this movie.  And why?  Who the hell knows?  Freddy wants revenge, but every movie seems to be Freddy's revenge.  It's all revenge.  This one is not a very good entry in the Nightmare canon but we all had a blast ripping on it.   Enjoy the podcast.

This week on the Exciting & New podcast, Jason, Andy and Dana welcome no one on the show, as no one would be caught dead discussing the 1985 movie Transylvania 6-5000.  Normally it would say comedy (?), but this movie doesn't even deserve that joke.  The cast in this movie is stellar, but the script is awful.  This is like watching a minor league baseball game filled with future starts, but they are managed by a chimp.  No one knows what to do.  The scenes go on too long.  And it seems as though everything was improv, with the direction being "Don't be funny".  Luckily you don't have to watch the movie to enjoy the podcast.

This week on the Exciting & New podcast, Jason, Andy and Dana welcome Anthony back on the podcast to discuss the 1985 horror movie Cat's Eye.  In this Stephen King penned anthology film, a cat crosses paths with a bunch of mobsters in NYC and Atlantic City, and a troll (?) in North Carolina.  One of these things is not like the other.  Broken up into 3 stories, we discuss how awesome smoking is, and how awful heights, cats and overbearing mothers are.  Enjoy the podcast.

This week on the Exciting & New podcast, Jason, Andy and Dana welcome Connor back on the show as they discuss the 1985 Horror/Comedy (?) House.  In this one, the Greatest American Hero deals with all the PTSD of Vietnam and the loss of his young son in the only normal way... taking over his dead aunt's haunted house.  Along the way, Norm from Cheers stops over to lend a 6-pack and some advice as they battle a raging Bull through the House.  This movie might have been something if it took a different turn or two, but since it is brought to you by the guys that made Friday the 13th, the road less traveled remains untraveled here.  Regardless of all that, we had a lot of fun discussing this one.  Enjoy the podcast.
