The steps built last year between the Dunn Center and the Exeter Community Library are in the process of being torn down.

 The biggest item in the June 27th Exeter Supervisors meeting was the Perkiomen Ave Phase 2 discussion, in which the Supes discussed and voted on advancing the project to bids, just to find out what the costs will be under the current economic conditions. 

  The Exeter Township School District raised taxes, approved labor agreements, welcomed a new Superintendent, and engaged in fuzzy math.

 The June 27th Exeter Supervisors meeting can be summed up in one word; dig.

With the “resignation” of former Exeter Finance Director Jennifer Savage, eight township management employees have been removed either by dismissal or resignation. 

 It’s about to be official. The Exeter school board on Tuesday will raise your taxes 1.5%.  This will be the fourth tax hike in four years, and eleventh in the last twelve.

The Exeter Supervisors appear to have something majorly wrong on their agenda.

Gardella appointed Vice Chair

 The agenda for the Supervisors meeting on Wednesday, June 22nd, has a surprise in it. The agenda calls for a discussion about the Vice Chair position, and about interaction with staff and the solicitor.

The time and place of a special meeting in which the Exeter Board of Supervisors is to discuss the Perkiomen Avenue Streetscape Project has been changed. AGAIN.
