Hey folks. I wanted to have a chat about race and the human narrative. A brief one. I get upset at people who experience more privelege than me but I also believe it's not their fault and that it's system ic, just like it was in ancient India, Egypt, China, or with the Mayans-- this idea of a ruling and working class. I don't want to be so hard on myself anymore, and I don't want us to be so hard on ourselves either. One day we're going to have to move on. Take care.

Hi. This episode is mostly about me wanting to be a barista again. I briefly talk about what I think the second wave American Dream is- which isn't the what but the how. The what is the material manifestation and display of what success is- the car, the home, the cisgendered nuclear family and white picket fence. The what hasn't changed but the how has, and it's through hustle culture- the modern euphemism for exploitation, through the guise of one day producing passive income. I pose that for me i rather have a enjoyable journey than be "there." I'm falling in love with the idea of work and work itself.
