Experience Jesus with Dr. Patty Sadallah

In this "how-to" episode, we will examine revival.  What does it mean?  What are the conditions that cause it?  What did Jesus have to say about this season of awakening and revival?  Dr. Patty looks at what can be learned by the first revival in the book of Acts.   Then she shares stories and pulls out those conditions in both the Azusa revival in the early 1900s and the Toronto Blessing of the 1990s.   She comments on the five lessons about revival learned by a new believer who experienced the Toronto Blessing.   Finally, Jesus shares his heart for revival, what motivates Him to show up in a group setting with His manifest presence,  and a bit about why spiritual warfare accompanies every revival and how to navigate those waters.  Jesus shows you what part of your heart needs to be resurrected and how He wants to use you in unity with other members of the body of Christ in your Experience Jesus encounter time.

This episode is a recording from a live event of the Holy Spirit 101 workshop in which Dr. Patty is sharing the segment on Justification and Sanctification.  The sealing of your salvation is justification and the growing of your faith is the sanctification process.  She shares the metaphor of the difference between a seed and it's fruit bearing intention.  Seeds contain the fullness of their designed purpose, yet they need the right conditions to grow into healthy fruit-bearing plants.  The same is true with the Holy Spirit.  The fullness of His capability is deposited as a seed until the the conditions are ripe to release Him in and through each believer.  She shares what the Holy Spirit brings to the table and what can happen when you cooperate with Him that allow the conditions for Him to grow within you.  She leads the rededication prayer of salvation and Jesus baptizes you in the Holy Spirit, activating Him in your heart in your Experience Jesus encounter time.

Dr. Patty shares her story about how the Lord helped her through disappointment.  When things don't go exactly the way you want or in the time you expect, there can be disappointment and discouragement.  Sometimes this can lead to you being mad at yourself, or mad at God.   What lessons can you learn in these circumstances?  She shares how the Lord reframed her disappointment by showing her something through an encounter, reminding her of a key message of a film clip, and giving her applicable scripture,  two songs, and a dream.   God will use many methods to make sure you get the messages He has for you.  Jesus will reframe a circumstance in your life for which you have been praying and waiting for in your Experience Jesus encounter time.
