What does it mean to say that we are spirit, soul, and body?
In Sunday for the Soul 51, Rev. Cynthia Alice Anderson explores the connection between these three aspects of our human experience and why understanding that relationship can change the way we approach healing, emotions, stress, and spiritual growth.
In Unity teaching, the spirit within us is the divine presence that does not change. The soul encompasses our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, memories, and individual journey. The body is the physical expression through which we experience this life—and what happens within one aspect of ourselves can affect the others.
Drawing from scripture, Unity teachings, prayer, and experiences from her own life, Cynthia invites us to approach physical and emotional challenges through a broader spiritual lens—not as evidence that we have failed spiritually, but as experiences through which we can seek wisdom, healing, support, and greater alignment.
How might your experience change when you remember: I am spirit, soul, and body?
