Every Friday night Will Allred and Kevin Joseph sit down to talk comics, crowdfunding, and a little bit of Pop Culture. This week Kevin got to speak one on one with Erica Schultz Cristabel Vol 1. Cristabel was originally planned by Samuel Taylor Coleridge as a five volume epic poem in which started publishing in 1997. He only ended up releasing two of the five volumes.

Erica explained that the unfinished poem had stuck with her ever since college and she wanted to finish it for Coleridge as faithfully as you could imagine him doing so. It's a very unique campaign and worth checking out.

The final project we heard about was Samples from the Lab. Illustrator Rob Foote took his absurdist, and absurdly cute drawings of animals if they were spliced with foods or other animals, and crafted a journal around exactly how these mutants came together. To Kevin it sounded a little like Flowers for Algernon spliced with The Island of Dr. Moreau.
