The live export industry has written to the federal agriculture minister, as exporters face an increase in oversight costs up to 60 percent.
Exporters across all commodities are subject to a range of oversight fees and charges, collected by the Department of Agriculture.
But the Australian Livestock Exporters Council says the Department hasn't put in place the appropriate measures to cover recent cost blow outs.
