After years in the London entertainment industry, the solo artist known as Pecht adopted a cryptic new identity and recorded his debut LP in exile on the north coast of Scotland. Like a Lovecraftian mystery unfolding in a Soho nightclub, the album references giallo and horror soundtracks, retro synth sounds and the hauntological explorations of Ghost Box Records.
