Eye On The Empire: A Libertarian Look At Washington Politics

The killing of Richard Brooks over the weekend it really had me thinking. My opinion changed over the matter as I continue to weigh the different videos that I saw. I determined that it was not justified. This is your libertarian look at the 2020 elections.

The polarization that you were seeing today as a direct result of the forces at work to control the federal government. They desire division, especially when there are two candidates who the people are not excited about. This is your libertarian look at the 2020 presidential election

Today I wanted to talk a little bit about the funding the police movement. #defundthepolice. Is this something that is realistic to do? Is it something that America should do?

Today I want to talk about how important it is to protect the bill of rights. Four years is been trampled on and undermined by our politicians. Today’s protests are a direct reflection on a government that is too big, and to powerful.

As you probably know there were some major protests in support of police reform over the weekend. Sadly that message was obscured by the violence that occurred during these protests. It is sad to see a potential message of limiting police power become obscured by a few bad actors in many cities across the US. Today I just wanted to share some of my thoughts briefly.

Today I want to tackle my thoughts on the murder of Floyd George by four please officers in Minnesota. While it would be easy to make the case that this was only about race, I think the illusion of authority that police and other public officials have is more likely the cause of this murder.

Also I wanted to talk a little bit about Donald Trump‘s new executive order to make the FCC regulate social media companies.

Also I’d like to talk a little bit of fact checkers hired by Facebook and other foot social media companies. Finally the last thing I talk about is contact tracing and where that can lead if left unchecked.
