In this episode, I sit with down with Na'eem Adam, whom I went to high school with. Na'eem is an entrepreneur to the core. He co-founded Canada's largest restaurant festivals; Le Burger Week, La Poutine Week and La Pizza Week. He co-founded Anatha Fest, an annual wellness and music festival in Quebec, and founded dineTab, an NFT loyalty platform for restaurants, events and festivals. Na'eem is a father of a 7-year-old boy and husband to an entrepreneur/DJ. He likes to balance out with nature, yoga and wellness.
Na'eem and I talk about our experience with being bullied in high school, and how that forced us to become resilient and find light. However, we also talk about the parts of ourselves we repressed and hid in the dark. We conclude with Na'eem sharing an exciting non-for-profit Music and Wellness festival outside Montreal, Anatha Fest. I will also be giving a self-love workshop at this festival, so please check Anathafest.com for details.

I am super grateful and excited to share another season with you. I am incredibly humbled that I have had such amazing guests over the past couple of seasons that have come on this podcast and shared their stories with me so I can share these conversations with you. The objective for this season is the same, with mental health at the forefront but also normalizing conversations around mental health, adversity and personal struggles. My goal is to highlight that we are not alone regarding these conversations.
This season, I am also hoping to bring in more therapists on the podcast so we can better understand a different perspective and learn from each other regarding mental health.
As always, I love hearing from you and encourage you to reach out with questions, feedback and suggestions.

In this episode, I sit down with Brad. Brad shares his experience of going to prison for a white-collar crime. Brad explains how his sentence started off with bitterness and resentment, and over time to gain control he needed to change his mindset and focus on himself. Brad's new mindset allowed him to work on himself and maintain communication with his family while he was serving time. We also discussed Brad's relationship with his children and wife after he finished his sentence and something that he works on every day to this day. Finally, Brad shares some wisdom for people who may feel imprisoned by their own thoughts and limitations.

The Every Day Man Series is a feature I am doing on my podcast of three episodes. The focus is to speak to three men that I know who are fathers and husbands. They are working and building a future for their families while putting in the work to better themselves so they can be better fathers and husbands. These are true heroes in our lives but do not get the praise they deserve.
In this episode, I sit down with Ryan King. Ryan shares his journey through life and building a business to the point where he was able to retire at the age of 35. However, that led Ryan to start questioning his purpose and determine how he could make a difference in the world by helping others out by sharing wisdom. In this episode, Ryan and I also discuss how we can become fathers to our children and better men for our partners.
