Lesley, a former resident of Jerusalem, discusses her latest book with Gary, Creating Beauty from the Abyss: The Amazing Story of Sam Herciger, Auschwitz Survivor and Artist. She provides glimpses of what it took to write the inspiring and harrowing story of how one man triumphed “over adversities of a kind a degree beyond comprehension.” It ends, of course, in Israel. Gary gives her book (available on Amazon) 5 stars. Tune in to see why, then order the book so you too can be inspired!
In her own words, author and theologian, Lesley Richardson “is in love with all things beautiful, with the creations of those who have wrestled to understand truth, and to express their vision in art and poetry and literature. In her own books and writings, she desires to focus on “the Love that moves the sun and all the stars.” Find her on Facebook at LesleyAnnRichardson

DESCRIPTION
The shock and danger of the war in Ukraine affects decisions people make. Do you go or stay? If you go, do you go now or wait? Where do you go? Where is it safe? Or, if you are a ministry team member, do you stay to help, or do you get out to take care of your family? If you are Jewish, do you make it to the border to arrange to make Aliyah to Israel? Pat has inside information on the types of decisions people in this war are making and shares some incredible stories from which we can learn and be encouraged, as well as know how to pray and to help.
