Fabulously Tourette Radio episodes

  • Dustybeetles
I'm doing something entirely different in this episode. Instead of Tourette's and mental health, I'm going to share with you my long-time interest in insects and my passion for edible insects. In this exciting episode, I've invited the founder of DustyBeetles Tony, aka #Beetlebros Pumba, to share about the story behind the Edible Insect brand and so much more. Thanks for listening.

  • Conversation with the Poecrastinator
Poecrastinator is an account I follow on Instagram and I'm also subscribed to her channel on YouTube.
And on this sunny but chilly Sunday afternoon in January of 2023, I've had the pleasure to chit chat with The Poecrastinator.
This is my first podcast of the New Year 2023.
And in this episode our conversation was fluid and we touched base on so many layers of issues.
Some of the highlights include coprolalia, treatment and medication, suppression, social media, videogames, and so much more.
I really enjoyed this conversation and I hope you will too.

  • Meet Jhonelle the Interpreter
During this episode, I've had indepth conversations with Jhonelle of San Antonio, Texas, who's a singing interpreter and a social media Tourette's syndrome advocate. She's had Tourette's syndrome since her teenage years and recently diagnosed. You will hear her POC perspective on living with Tourette's syndrome and comorbidities from the schools to her adult life. Thank you for listening, and I wish my audience a very happy holiday. • Don't judge a book by the cover
This is a fun episode with engaging topics lasting almost 1 hour and 30 minutes. Matthew and I are Facebook friends, and despite him and I are similar age, and we both have Tourette's Syndrome and comorbidities ADHD and OCD but we don't know enough about each other On this exciting episode, Matthew and I got to learn more about each other. I learned about his lifetime challenges managing coprolalia. Don't judge a book by the cover. Behind the visible motor tics and the head turning involuntary obscenities is a caring man full of wits and compassion, and he is philosophical. Matthew shared his thoughts on the education systems, and we went back in time and shared our stories about our childhood. Matthew shared some value insights about dealing with bullies. Our conversation was fluid, and I'm proud to present to my audience another great Tourette's conversation.

  • Conversation with Stephen Dijoseph

During this episode I've invited Mr. Stephen Dijoseph from Pennsylvania who is a musician and filmmaker and he has lived with Tourette's Syndrome for most of his life.  Stephen who was born in the 1950s is definitely the oldest guest who has spoken at my show.  He spoke vividly and shared his unique Tourette's Syndrome experience coming from a time myself and most of my other guests haven't been born yet.  Stephen has been harnessing the Tourette's energy to fuel his passion for music and art.  He has several music videos including an award wining short film called "A SynapTic Adventure: Tourettes and Beyond" which I will share the link below.  Although this podcast is only 35 minutes due to time constraints, we've covered so much and I'm happy to present this conversation to my audience.

Please find the list of links to support the artist Stephen Dijoseph.

In Stephen's own words, Tourettes is like a river that is constantly flowing and the water gets into places.

  • Conversation with Ben of Tourette's Podcast

Kicking off a brand new season I have had the greatest pleasure of inviting the host and creator of Tourette's Podcast to come to my show and speak about his Tourette's syndrome experience and showcase his life journey.  Tourette's Podcast is the oldest Tourette's Syndrome themed podcast and I think this podcast inspired a generation of podcasters include myself dedicated to advocate and share Tourette's awareness on the air and break the stigma.  I've had a really good time kick off the brand new season by having an in depth conversation with Ben, the host of Tourette's podcast where real people with Tourette's Syndrome share real stories and real experience.  Thank you for listening.  Many more conversations to come.

  • Wrapping up Season 2
In this season 2 wrap up I spoke for about 1 hour and half mainly giving my existing audience a recap of my TS and mental health journey as well as an introductory conversation for my new audiences about myself. This was my first podcast Livestreamed on both Tiktok and Instagram. My goal for season 3 is to bring back the interviews and I plan carry out more one on one conversations. Stay tuned and Happy Holidays.
