Not everyone can say they stared down a serial killer, but recently retired Scotland Yard Murder Squad and Counter Terrorism Detective David Leach has done just that. In part one of his chat with Gary, David talks about the investigation that led to the arrest of Levi Bellfield, a serial killer that had been terrorising London until his arrest in 2004.
