Facing Off

The fate of every single world of our infinite universe depends on us making a podcast about movies. So luckily we were joined by a true cinephile/film worker Kellen to breakdown two major multi-versal films from 2022. To celebrate it's 11 Oscar noms this week, we faced the beloved "Everything Everywhere All At Once" off against the darkest MCU movie "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness". While we jump from universe to universe eating pizza balls and sticking trophies up our butts, we choose a winner between the indie darling and a mega franchise sequel.

What are your favorite 2022 movies? Let us know!

MARY Christmas!!!! Pardon the silly pun, but we are bringing you some holiday cheer with two heartwarming (and heartbreaking) movies! We faced the 2006 Adam Sandler comedy "Click" off against the 1946 Jimmy Stewart classic "It's A Wonderful Life". We chose two films about a workaholic father/husband constantly taken advantage of but also ignorant of all the blessings in his life (including a smokeshow amazing wife and the cutest kids in the world), who tries to take the simplest solution to his life's miseries before being shown how bad things would be in another scenario before coming screaming back to his family for a second chance. Listen as we decide which of these jerks actually deserve's Santa's presents or a huge lump of coal. Enjoy the holidays!!!!

After journeying all across Westeros and Middle Earth, we break down the first seasons of the Game of Thrones prequel series on HBO "House of the Dragon" and the Lord of the Rings prequel series on Amazon Prime "The Rings of Power". In the first part of this mega episode, we will talk about the epic highs and our least fav parts of each series, and debate how worthy these shows were to be adapted from the source material, let alone follow up two of the biggest series of all time. Happy Halloween Y'All! We have a special spooky episode for you and we just had to compare two batshit crazy "horror" movies. We took the 2022 insanely twisted "Barbarian" and faced it off against the classic 2012 horror satire "Cabin in the Woods". In a battle of two of the more creative and absurd films in the genre, which will take a whole bowl of candy home?

Warning: this episode contains heavy spoilers, but we HIGHLY recommend you watch both before listening. DO NOT LOOK UP ANYTHING about Barbarian before watching, if you can stomach even a little bit of scariness, crank that bad boy up on HBO Max now and watch with some friends. Both movies are a wild ride and that's a Facing Off guarantee!
