When many people picture Noah’s ark, they see the cute little boat overloaded with creatures and a happy, smiling Noah. But that’s not what the ark looked like!
The Bible describes a massive wooden ship. It was 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high. There was more than enough room for the animals.
We need to teach our children that the history in God’s Word actually happened. The ark was a real ship that survived a real flood. Instead of cute drawings that make the account look like a fairy tale, we need to show the ark like it actually was: a massive ship that saved mankind from the floodwaters.
