  • Faith at Home Podcast: Psalm 69:19-36 Listening Practice (NET)
In this Listening Practice using the last half of Psalm 69, you might hear the call of the Divine Family to turn to them for encouragement. You might notice that this prayer-poem, written 1000 years before Jesus, reminds you of some of Jesus’ story. Or maybe it reminds you of your own story.

Sometimes the act of complaining, the feeling of heartache, can be a cue that our spiritual lives need some tender, loving care. And right in this moment of need and distress, we are invited to come to the Divine Family for encouragement and a safe place to land.

Take a moment to drop us a quick note to let us know what you are noticing as you listen to Psalm 69:19-36. We’d love to hear from you!

  • Faith at Home Podcast: Psalm 68:20-35 Listening Practice

The Psalms are a really practical tool in our prayer toolkit.

They can help us to get to know the Divine in different ways. They can help us to be honest with ourselves about what we are noticing and feeling.

Sometimes when we read the Psalms they have images in them that are uncomfortable!

Today’s listening practice has stark imagery. Beyond and through that imagery, can you hear your inner self in conversation with the Life-Giving Spirit?

In the midst of the uncomfortable, the Divine is present with us. If you aren’t in a space where you are able to feel that today, would you consider a brief conversation of support? We have some openings for complementary Exploration Calls for Online Spiritual Guidance!
