At Christmastime we remember the greatest gift given by the greatest giver--the Gift of God's Son to grant eternal life to all of mankind.Those who have received the Gift can then give of themselves to others, completing the circle of generosity, which is the spirit of Christmas.

The leaders of Israel at the time of Christ were arrogant and corrupt. They were bad shepherds who had no regard for the flock. Jesus comes along and claims to be THE Good Shepherd who deeply loves the sheep, to the point of giving his life for them.
