Don't you love it when a plan comes together- The members of the Trinity devised the greatest plan ever conceived and it all came together on a cross in Israel 2000 years ago.

Jesus stood before Pilate who asked, -What is truth-- Jesus could have answered, -You're lookin' at him buddy.- But Pilate unwittingly spoke the the truth when he brought Jesus out to the Jews and said, -Behold your King.-

The trial of Jesus was a sham, a show trial. But it turned back on his accusers when Jesus questioned their motives.

In John 17 we have the longest recorded prayer of Jesus. Instead of praying for himself only hours before his crucifixion, he prays for his disciples. The love expressed there is profound.

No pain, no gain is true saying. Everything that is good in this life comes at at a cost. Relationships, art, education, music, and sports all take effort for those who would be good. Jesus' pain on the cross led to our gain of eternal life. Our suffering in this life will lead to a kingdom where there is no pain.
