None of us have arrived. All of us need a little help. The disciples were worried about Jesus' impending departure, but Jesus assures them that will never be alone because the Helper--the Holy Spirit is coming.

Jesus loved Judas and gave him every opportunity become a genuine disciple. But Judas bit the hand that fed him.

As Jesus approaches his final week, he has one last conflict with the Jewish leaders. They demand to know whether he claims to be the Christ. In his response, two things are clear- He is the Good Shepherd who gives eternal life to his sheep and he is one with the Father, the eternal Son of God. Refusing to accept this, they plot his execution.
