Our mission is to make disciples who make disciples who make disciples. It is the mission given to the church by Jesus and is the responsibility of every Christian.

Consumerism is detrimental to the life of the church. Scripture commands—and the Gospel empowers—us to live, love and disciple like family, AS a family!

Gospel transformation always leads to love for the Father and His people. When the God-centered, God-sized Gospel takes root in us, we choose to love our adopted brothers and sisters, and to live alongside one another like family.

Not only does the Bible give us God’s Word, but it also tells us how to read and understand it. The Bible is our authoritative source of God’s revelation. Being faithful to God means being faithful to the Bible. And if we are to be faithful in our understanding of the Bible, we have to read it how it says to: through the lens of the gospel, in community, and on mission.

The foundation of our faith is the gospel: the good news that God has redeemed us through Jesus and made us family. It is crucial that we understand the gospel that is proclaimed in the Bible; the gospel that is God-centered, God-sized, and changes everything.

Last week we talked about living in light of the identity God has given us as his family on mission. This is the same identity since the establishment of the church. But if this identity is so clear, how do churches veer off course so frequently? How do we know when we have veered? How do we correct course to get back on track?

Who we are called to be and what we are called to do as a church family has already been declared by God. Our desire is to continue to grow in faithfulness to that identity and calling.
