God has given us a great gift in our immune system. We should nourish it to promote health of not only ourselves, but those around us. Steve has talked about health before on Faith & Family Radio. You may remember the Healthy Heart episodes (153 & 154). We reaired them in October. In this episode, Steve shares some steps that he has taken personally to help boost his immune system over the last several years. He was less worried about fighting off the cold and flu and more concerned about being around as a father and grandfather.
You’ve heard Steve Wood quote Steven Corey before: “keep the main thing the main thing.” In this episode, Steve walks us through Luke 24 and talks about the importance of the family unit and praying together, reading the bible together. He mentions some non-Catholics that have a lot to offer us.
The main challenge to 21st century parents is raising young children to be followers of Jesus throughout their teenage years. Between scripture, pope quotes and a bit of his own personal testimony, Steve teaches us how to encourage our children to have an encounter with the living God.
