What makes us Christian is not what we do through cultures and traditions, but in the faith that we have in Christ – faith that is not simply emotive in nature, but one that transcends the doubts, struggles, and uncertainties that might be present. True faith in Christ moves us to obedience; it propels us to steadfastness to His Word, direction, and wisdom, even when we don’t understand it.

What is standing in the way of our total trust in the Lord? How can we grow in faith so that we will come to be totally abandoned to His will?
