{Ephesians 2:10} He calls us && then equips us!

What has The Most High called you to do for His plan? His glory? His Kingdom?

Did you immediately see that as a calling from Him? Did you right away feel as if you were ready to do that?

Im gonna go out on a limb and say you were just like the 3 of us- terrified, wanting to deny it, not believing we are good enough, etc. {Jonah running from an assignment anyone?!}

YHWH knows what He is doing ya'll, who are we to question what He is calling us to do? It is past time that we let go of the fear and the second guessing and we allow YHWH to move through the gifts and talents that He has blessed us with to serve HIS purpose. We are far too often focused on our own desires or thoughts and that is simply a recipe for disaster. He is the potter and we are the clay.....His hands are on everything and we are His fingerprints....

HIS PLAN HIS WILL HIS WAY HIS TRUTH

When you make the decision to die to your flesh- to die to self- and to focus on what YHWH is calling you to do...you will have scales removed. You will see truths begin to be revealed. Please know that when that happens- when He tells you His truth- it is time to move. Not when someone else tells you. Not when you see another moving. When he reveals it to you. So get comfy in that quiet space with Him. Turn off the world. Allow the silence to be filled with the voice of YHWH and not your own. There the truth is waiting- your mission is waiting to be started- your calling was created in that belly of truth...time to get to it.

{Joshua 24:14-15} We have a choice to make && we must take it seriously.

Will we choose Him in EVERY way or will we choose the world? That is the most important question we can all ask ourselves first thing in the morning- setting ourselves out on His narrow path with intention. Knowing that we will be searching for the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) and His conviction to guide us. Knowing that we will then be listening for His voice, that small still whisper, to point us to the path. Knowing that we will be setting the example for those around us that He has called us to set.

This is the same choice the Israelites were faced with- the same Adam/Seth/Noah were faced with- the same we face today- and the same our children's children will face tomorrow. Follow YHWH- the Elohim of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob....or follow the world. Black and White. Right and wrong. easy peasy.....except it isn't. Because we are silly fleshly humans who fall to our flesh daily.

We can still make the choice each moment, however, to TRY. To set our intention on His righteousness and then ask Him to help us. That is where the process of sanctification comes from. Making the choice then walking it out. Letting ourselves get a new heart and change from the inside out. After all, no-one is getting full on Lemon Pepper Seasoning- we need the meat && potatoes that IS YHWH.

The mystery included in it is the truth surrounding Yeshua && His Bride.

Being married might be the hardest "job" we have ever had. Im sure you have seasons in your life where you will agree with us. However, it was never designed to be that way. YHWH designed marriage to be the perfect example of the love His son bears for the gift given to Him (that would be us...WE are supposed to be the gift....let that sink in for a moment). We were created with the purpose of being given to Yeshua (Jesus) as His Bride. How have we failed to be a good bride to him as well as to our husbands? How have we failed the beauty that is marriage? But most importantly what are we going to do to correct it?

Whether you are struggling with being unequally yolked, how to identify your role in the marriage, the intimacy, or anything in between...rest assured that Scripture && YHWH hold the answer. Not your girlfriends. Not your sister. Not your local mom group on FB. (That isn't to say that seeking counsel from someone who might have more wisdom than you in that situation is a bad thing- it is simply to remind you to dig into His word to find the answers to His greatest Parable.)

Not a single one of us ever thought to look to scripture to get an idea on how our marriages were supposed to look, how we were supposed to act as wives, or how we could shake off the societal standard for what is "normal" in a marriage. Until YHWH began removing the scales from our eyes. It is our prayer that HE will remove them from yours as well- and if this podcast has helped in any way...ALL PRAISE TO THE MOST HIGH!

"For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure they will keep you from being useless or unfruitful in knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ"

Peter declares this to us in his 2nd letter to ALL believers. He is referring to goodness, knowledge, self-control, endurance, godliness, brotherly affection, and love. This, of course, follows his 1st letter where he gave us very specific examples of how we can live out this qualities.

This is not a foreign concept to believers in general. We know we are to be good people. Do what is right. Love our neighbor. Be honest. Give to those less fortunate. The list is endless of things we LOGICALLY know we are called to do based off the moral code we accept as our yoke while believing in Yeshua (Jesus). 

I feel as though the vast majority of folks- myself included- allow the buck to stop there. At simply knowing it with our mind- then doing the best we can in any given stage of our life. 

We challenge all of you right here- right now- to drop the "best as I can" mindset. Start doing so wholeheartedly. seek Him with your whole heart. live out His will with your whole heart. Answer the convictions placed in you with your whole heart. 

Stop relying on what you have always done && instead ask HIM what He wants you to do. How does He want you to live. Where does He want your focus. What plan does he have for your skills and talents. Stepping away from convenience for yourself and instead into fulfilling His plan to get you onto the narrow path. 

We discussed all of 2Peter in todays episode, and we hope you loved the reminders Peter left for us as much as we did. It is always our prayer that you will dig deeper after listening to our take of the scripture to find more for yourself!

"Be Holy because I, the Lord your God, am Holy."

Leviticus 19:2 is one of several places you can find YHWH telling His people to be Holy as He is Holy.

But what does that mean? HOW can one be Holy? Especially since we live in such a fallen world?!

Today we cover the entirety of 1Peter. Yeshua (Jesus) let us all know that Peter had the authority (Mathew 16) to let us know how we can live righteously. SO we must look to the words of Peter to get better understanding of how to live that out in our day to day life. 

It is our hope that you can listen to this episode- while it may be lengthy- after letting go of any previous knowledge you might have received from the world/church/family member etc. We pray that you will approach this with a clean slate. Read for understanding and using discernment. 

May those who have eyes to see- see. And those who have ears to hear-hear.
