What if faith and work integration begins not with our job title, but with understanding the landscape we're standing in?

For Candace Mililani Tabuchi, PhD, faith, work and culture intersect in profound ways. Growing up on Kaua'i, she was shaped by the culture embedded in her family and community. For Candace the "work of welcome" resonates deeply with the Spirit of Aloha of her home culture, and of course, this is deeply resonate with her Christian faith. From Christ's incarnation to his crucifixion to the final restoration, how does faith in Jesus as Creator and Redeemer of all things shape a holistic vision of occupational therapy? And what wisdom comes from a vantage point of disability and restoration that helps us to understand the Son of Man at a deeper level?
