Falcon Chambers is proud to present The Residential Revolution, a new podcast series examining the significant legislative developments that have reshaped the residential landlord and tenant landscape in recent years.
Over the course of 11 episodes, we will guide you through this period of substantial reform, with particular focus on the Building Safety Act 2022, the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024, the Renters’ Rights Act 2025, and the Draft Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Bill. Each episode is hosted by two members of Falcon Chambers who are expert practitioners in the field.
The sixth episode in the series, A House is a Home, is hosted by Tony Radevsky, Imogen Dodds and Thomas Rothwell, who are joined by special guest Henrietta Hammonds of Beckett and Kay Chartered Surveyors. The episode focuses on Parts 1, 2, 4 and 5 of the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act, covering the ban on long residential leases of houses, reforms to the existing leasehold enfranchisement regime, and changes to the regulation both of leasehold and of estate management.
