Grumbling is what we say when we forget God's good gifts.-1. Despising what is good. -v.24a- -2. Not believing God's good promise -v.24b--3. Not obeying a good God. -v.25-27-

Forgetting God- Beyond reason. -God yet remembering us- Beyond comparison. -1. Depleted reasoning- exchanging what for what-- -v.19-20- -2. Vacated revelation- forgetting God-- -v.21-22--3. Committed intercession- gaining an advocate. -v.23-

See the Throne of God, and be encouraged- -1. See that God is the good and powerful Judge. -v.9-10--2. See that all rival kingdoms will be destroyed. -v. 11-12- -3 See that the Son of Man has been given dominion. -v.13-14-

To continue praising and thanking God, we must apply the grace of Christ to our own wicked jealousy. -1. What others have. -v.16- -2. How God views us, as we view others. -v.17--3. How we view God, while God is viewing us- -v.18, 47-48-

We can be comforted about the future, because our Lord God Almighty is now on the throne- -1. Universal chaos. -v.1-2--2. A jungle of animals. -v.3-7- -3. Considering the horns and the future. -v.8-

Who is able to rescue from lions, exile, sin, and death- -1. The living God.-2. The enduring God. -3. The rescuing God.

We entered the damaging trap of discontent, and thank God that He came to rescue us. How did we get here--1. Forgetting what we have. -v.13- -2. Desiring what we do not have. -v.14a--3. Testing God- -v.14b-15-

Since prayerlessness is deadly, keep a habit of praying. -1. Use aids to remind you of your heavenly citizenship.-2. Deepen your habit, using discipline and regularity. -3. Include both thanks and requests in your habitual praying.

To participate in the Lord's Supper, we must understand it. -What do we need to understand--1. The history of Jesus in The Passover. -v.7-13- -2. The heart of Jesus in the Last Supper. -v.14-18--3. The gift of Jesus in The Lord's Supper. -v.19-20-

Because darkness always attacks light, we need to trust Christ the King for attacks against our integrity.-1. We are always under attack. -v.1-2--2. Especially our integrity. -v. 3-5--3. The greatest test of our integrity may be ahead of us. -v.6-9-
