After waiting almost a year and a half between new episodes of the Star Wars smash-hit series "The Mandalorian", Din Djarin and Grogu have finally returned to Disney+ with a third season.

Nicolas Cage employs all his Nic Cage-y powers as Dracula alongside Nicholas Hoult's “Renfield” in the new horror-comedy in theaters.  It's funny, but it's also super violent & bloody. Also trying to pass off violence as humor is the Toni Collette starring “Mafia Mamma,” where the American housewife suddenly finds herself at the head of a crime family in Italy. The story of the first Black player to sign a contract in NBA history, “Sweetwater” hits theaters this week, and is pretty good! “The Last Thing He Told Me” is a new mystery thriller series on Apple TV+ starring Jennifer Garner for a streaming option. Other options include “Prom Pact” on Disney+ if your teens are in the middle of prom season at their schools and are looking for another take on the genre.  There's also the gospel-and-soul music-infused “Praise This” on PeacockTV, where a wannabe pop star decides to join a competitive gospel music team.  And, of course, the fifth and final season of “The Marvelous Mrs Maisel” on Prime Video.

On Netflix, the engaging conspiracy thriller series "The Night Agent is all available to stream now. Over on Hulu, we get a musical romantic comedy series, "Up Here," set in the 1990s. An interactive, kid-friendly animated special on Netflix called "We Lost Our Human" where you get to choose what the characters do in certain situations. Apple Tv+ is tackling climate change futuristic drama series called "Extrapolations" For a period piece adjacent to Jan Austen, there is the third (and supposedly final) season of "Sanditon" on PBS. And Morgan Freeman & Florence Pugh star in "A Good Person," which the Movie Show's Steve Sales call's the best thing he saw this week.

Fury of the Gods, ” This time, he and his SHAZAM-ily, is facing off with a horde of mythical creatures. But will the sequel live up to the magic of the first film? Andy gives his answer in the first part of our episode, with Producer KellieAnn giving her DC Fanatic answer in the final segment. 

Over on streaming services, fans rejoice at the return of “Ted Lasso” Season 3 on Apple TV+, with the driving question, how does Team Lasso at AFC Richmond solve a problem like Rupert, Nate & West Ham United? Over on Netflix, the fantasy book-turned-series “Shadow and Bone” gets its second season premiere. Also on Netflix, the cute animated movie “The Magician's Elephant” is a magical hit for kids.

Unfortunately, Andy thinks “History of The World Part II” will be far more offensive than funny for most people who follow our podcast. A surprisingly enjoyable new movie starring Woody Harrelson as a basketball coach who leads a team to the Special Olympics, “Champions” does a good job balancing humor & heart and never stoops to poking fun at the athletes or their disabilities. If you're a "Scream" franchise fan, you've got “Scream VI” in theaters, but this time without Neve Campbell.

Other options include: “Chang Can Dunk,” A family-friendly movie on Disney Plus. The Hulu streaming dramedy series “Unprisoned.” A series on Paramount Plus called “School Spirits.” “Luther: The Fallen Sun” on Netflix, a movie that's a sequel to the popular British detective show starring Idris Elba.
