In S2E7 of The Boys, the episode titled “Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker” brings us a lot of parallels to the real world with a fear-induced shooting, super villain propaganda, and an explosive Congressional hearing. Butcher deals with some long-overdue family drama, Hughie gets introduced to “supe porn”, and Homelander and Stormfront make a house call with disastrous results.
