Now this was a truly unique episode! First the competitors had to make traditional Texas Bowie Knives, and the judges had to deliberate for 4 hours to decide who moved to round two. For the second round, the competitors had to recreate the Elgin Pistol, by taking apart their Bowie knives and attaching the blade to a pistol. What a delightfully odd weapon! For this episode, contestants were tasked with using steel wool and powder to create their round one blades, and then finalists had to create Pipe Tomahawks. They needed to be functional as pipes, as well as for inflicting brutal tomahawk damage! And it also featured the first deaf bladesmith on Forged in Fire! For this episode, our 3 smiths had 3 hours to put together a working flintlock mechanism, from a number of unfinished components. Then for the Masterbuild challenge, the finalists had to recreate the Flintlock GRENADE LAUNCHER!! AW HELL YEA! Another weapon we were oblivious to. What a crazy weapon. Great Job to all of the smiths. This was a really fun one!

Ooh yea, what a fun one! First off, three smiths had to recreate the Native American Gunstock War Club. What an inventive and cool design for a weapon. The Master Build Challenge was to recreate a Blunderbuss with a flared muzzle, that could be reloaded during testing. Lot's of fun was had by all. This show has been getting better and better! For this episode, the smiths met at a storage facility and had to scrounge through "Storage units" to find pieces to BUILD THEIR OWN FREAKING FORGES! What the hell, that's nuts!
