April 09, 2022 S03DFQ136 - Oh my Hoard! The Jaylen that's winning me my fantasy title!
We expect nothing less really. This year's silly season hero could just be Jaylen Hoard who again gave fantasy managers some KAT-like numbers. If you picked him up for the final week, chances are you are on your way to a title. The OKC Thunder played only 6 guys today with Isaiah Roby playing less than 20 minutes, so technically they played 5 guys for pretty much the whole game. Crazy!
On judgement day, don't be surprised to see all your key players rest while players like Hoard take centerstage one final time.

April 07, 2022 S03DFQ135 - Silly season got sillier! More "unknown" streams plus Norm Powell returns!
At this point a new guy can come along and play for some tanking team and just win you your fantasy league. The past few days names like Jaylen Hoard, Braxton Key, Isaiah Livers, Keon Johnson are the guys you'd want to have represent your fantasy teams. And these guys could be cut anytime (see Olivier Sarr) so just ride them out while they are hot.
What also made this time of the season sillier is that in the midst of all these "unkown" names, there is a returnee that could also make an impact. Norm Powell returned to the Los Angeles Clippers to get some reps before the playoffs. Of course, the Clips have nothing to play for so it's difficult to say if he plays all the remaining games.

April 02, 2022 S03DFQ133 - Silly season fantasy begins! Lindy Waters, Jaylen Hoard, Isaiah Livers? Who are they?
And so it begins. This is the time of the season when unknowns become fantasy heroes. Players like Robert Covington, not really an unknown, become stars just because the real superstars take the day off. Never heard of names like Isaiah Livers, Lindy Waters or Jaylen Hoard transform from "bench player that seldom gets off the bench" to major pickup that can win you your fantasy matchup. We call it the silly season fantasy and it's fun!
Alright I know we try to stay away from having playoff schedules running this late, but let's look at the bright side. For one, we still get to play fantasy basketball and we all agree it is fun! Secondly, if you're the underdog, a rest to any of your opponent's star player means opportunity for you to pickup the next best replacement player and third, well, did I say it's fun? Anyway, we still do quickies on this silly part of the season so check out this episode.

Robert Williams III ends his stellar fantasy season with a meniscus tear while Evan Mobley went down with an ankle injury and is in danger of also ending his fantasy season early for managers still playing. Not the way we really want to end the season as these big men were most likely crucial players to managers' fantasy playoff runs.
The semi good news could be the possible return of Anthony Davis and Paul George. Could they make it on time for managers still playing for fantasy title? Well if they do, they could be the game changers this week and on week 24. Should you add them now? We discuss in this episode.

It's judgement day and as with our weekly playoff judgement day, stories are plenty. Today was no different and this one is probably something that commish Eric will remember for a long time.
For week 23, Lebron James injured his ankle during today's game and the words during his presser did not sound good. He could miss time, and that could be big for his owners, but this is Lebron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are on the brink of even missing out the play-in tournament being just one game ahead of San Antonio Spurs. So let's see.

March 25, 2022 S03DFQ127 - Surprise, surprise! Chris Paul makes return early!
We were surprised! We have to admit, we thought Chris Paul will be back later this week or in week 23. But I guess he was ready and boy, he did not miss a beat! CP3 was classic CP3 as he and Devin Booker led the Phoenix Suns in clinching the best record in the NBA and home court advantage throughout the playoffs. Booker, to the dismay of commish Eric, exploded with a complete fantasy line and the timing for his owners is just perfect! If you were able to pick-up CP3 for the fantasy playoffs, he could be a game changer.
Another player returning was OG Anunoby who is more low key return but at this point in the playoffs could be timely and valuable for his owners who stashed him or picked him up. His season has been a little bit of a disappointment with rookie Scottie Barnes looking more of a better pick than OG, but hey, any help in these fantasy playoffs will be welcome with a lot of key players starting to rest games.
