Saying that Russell Westbrook is not having a good year could probably be an understatement. He has been nowhere close to that triple double machine that you wouldn't mind losing the efficiency categories for this season. So now comes the playoffs, is he still a helpful piece to your team or does he do more harm than good?
We talk about some drop players for the playoffs and some borderline ones plus playoff story time with some frustrating missteps I made.

With the OKC Thunder ruling Lu Dort out for the remainder of the season, is it time for more POKU?! Aleksej Pokusevski has been playing well actually and he has been rostered in pretty much at a high percentage of fantasy teams. He is a great per-minute stat producer and heck he could end up the guy to own than maybe Alperen Sengun?
With the news of Alex Caruso possibly coming back a week or two from now, is he a worthy add for the playoffs or just a waste of move?

March 07, 2022 S03DFQ113 - Is there any doubt about fantasy MVP Nikola Jokic?
I haven't seen anyone who came close to the consistent production Nikola Jokic has given his fantasy manager. Today he just had a monster line! Every challenger to his fantasy MVP throne has their flaws - James Harden has not been as consistent, Steph Curry has had some really forgettable games from time to time, Joel Embiid can't pass as well as Jokic. It's looking clear that the Joker is the undisputed fantasy MVP. Is there any doubt about that?
Jarrett Allen broke his finger. No timeline has been set, but it he is out indefinitely. Whenever the word "indefinitely" is used, it does not look too good especially if you are within your playoff battles. Meanwhile, Draymond Green is set to return in a week or so. He looks really close to returning and that could be good news not just for Green owners, but for Steph Curry as well!

March 06, 2022 S03DFQ112 - So Steph Curry resting to start week 20?! Is Giddey a drop? Plus a look at week 20 schedule.
Rests are all over the NBA today and this could prove crucial during playoffs. James Harden sat out today's game and then to kickoff week 20, Steph Curry will be resting. I guess that's just how head-to-head play works and somehow, if you're an underdog as a lower seeded team, this helps balance out some of the top seeds. Having said that, it is annoying and frustrating especially when stars like Harden and Curry do it.
We also take a quick look into the week 20 schedule and some strategies you can do in streaming for your playoffs.

This one is going to be really close. Scottie Barnes, Cade Cunningham and Evan Mobley will most likely be the three rookies vying for the rookie of the year - both in fantasy and in real life. All three has had their own good run of really good games spread throughout the whole season. Who do you think leads this race so far?
OG Anunoby will be out for at least two weeks, possibly capping off a disappointing season in fantasy. Is he a drop?
Meanwhile Victor Oladipo is set to return and is said to be 100% healthy now. Is Oladipo an add?

I have a lot of Jimmy Butler stocks out there and lately he has not given me the Jimmy Buckets we all love - across the board contribution and elite steal rate. Is this something we should be worried about approaching the fantasy playoffs?
Another player also struggling to get back into his early season form is Lamelo Ball. It looks like the nice assists numbers have gone down as everyone around him have been playing better. Is this a bump on the road, or are his early season success a fluke?

So I'm a bit worried about Darius Garland and his back injury. He is said to be day-to-day, so he might just surprise us one day that he'll play. Still this looks like it will linger through the rest of the season and that is what worries me. He might miss important games within our fantasy playoffs. Let's just hope that he gets back to playing sooner than later.
Cam Payne is set to return and fill in for the big shoes of Chris Paul. Obviously he won't be giving us CP3 numbers, but if we can squeeze half of what CP3 does, I'll be happy.
Plus, we talk about some buy players that may be able to help you in this week's playoffs.

March 01, 2022 S03DFQ108 - Would you rather have Ja or Steph in fantasy playoffs? Scottie Barnes fills up the stats!
Aside from the crazy dunks and shots Ja Morant displayed today, he also filled up the scoring column with 52 points on 73% shooting! The free throws weren't particularly good but Morant's performance will surely get his managers excited as week 19 playoffs kick off! This brought us back to yesterday's discussion, all things considered who would you rather have come fantasy playoffs - Ja Morant or Steph Curry?
The real winner for fantasy here though is Scottie Barnes! That stat line he gave his owners today is just Giannis-like! And with OG Anunoby out indefinitely, we might be seeing the early season Scottie Barnes we all loved! Hopefully he keeps this up.

It's fantasy playoff time! In today's quickie we talk about some injured players worthy of stashing. Who are some of the streaming options you could pickup and we rank some of the centers worth an add.
We also discuss the EmBeard era that I'm sure is exciting the James Harden and Joel Embiid owners. Plus another Steph Curry discussion - not really a rant, but more of what type of an asset can he be in fantasy playoffs and would he be better to own than guards like Dejounte Murray, Ja Morant? Is Curry still on the first round level when it comes to fantasy playoffs?
