We could not help it! So on the day Yahoo opened their fantasy basketball season, we could not resist the temptation of doing the mock draft. We know the rankings are still screwed up, but, for sure they will change that in the coming weeks or months. In this episode, we did the mock draft and gave our insights on who seems to be too high or too low.

Is Kevin Durant too high at three? Who among Brooklyn's Big Three should we trust the most? Is Karl Anthony-Towns and Paul George too low? Again, the rankings are not final so I think debating about this is just for fun at this point (players' teams aren't even updated). One thing is for sure, the NBA Fantasy Basketball season is back! And we are excited to get into another fun and competitive season! Plus, we're excited to meet and interact with more fantasy basketball fanatics!

With the frenzy of the fantasy basketball season closing in, we decided to talk about the different factors you should consider when choosing a league to join. Last season, we've heard some crazy things going on in buy-in leagues that disappointed and frustrated a lot of managers so we shared our insights about some important things to consider before joining a league. And since we are starting our signup process for our leagues this season, this was a good episode to remind us what we should NOT do with our leagues.

Anyway, our league signups have started (or will be starting later), and we hope we can make this a good experience for fantasy managers who will be joining. We have some nice plans (Fantasy Awards Night, trophies/tokens for winners-we're hoping, but not too sure yet, and a lot more) we hope we can execute for this season.

We were able to catch a glimpse of the rookies this season and a lot of them looked impressive. I know it's just the Summer League and the competition is far from actual NBA games, but as our guest said, if you can't impress in the summer league, how can they match up against the big boys of the NBA?

So in this episode we dissect the performers of the summer league and how could that translate to the NBA game. Aside from the rookies, we also talked about a few sophomores who could make their break out this season and commish threw out a possible sleeper among the sophomore batch.

Now let's talk about the Western Conference free agent moves. One thing is for sure, after looking at the teams in the East and the acquisitions some of the teams had there, the West became boring as hell with their moves. It seems like only Lakers fans are the ones really excited in the West. Top contenders last year like the Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers and Utah Jazz, made some nice moves that upgraded their line-ups but nothing that is worthy of any fantasy consideration. 

The Los Angeles Lakers made the most splash in the Western Conference, but who among their new acquisitions would merit a spot in your fantasy team? Golden State Warriors also had very underrated moves, but they could've signed one player that might be neglected in drafts but could become one of this season's sleepers. 

And then we talk about the bad teams - Sacramento, San Antonio, Oklahoma and Houston. These teams could be a fantasy haven as we all know bad teams are sometimes breeding grounds for fantasy studs.
