Just like that week 1 of fantasy basketball is in the books! In case you won your week congratulations! If you lost in week 1, the good news for you is that it is still very early to panic. There were lots of things that could've contributed to the loss - injuries, schedule, etc. In case you're still worried, well, just follow us to get yourself updated and maybe we'll talk about one of your players in the pod.

Moving on to today's quickie, we take a look at some of the very surprising studs in the first week. Then we look into Ja Morant's fast start that is surely being enjoyed by his managers. Morant, according to commish, has been everything we thought De'Aaron Fox would be this season. Do you think Morant can't keep this up and eventually rank higher than Fox?

One of my favorite players in fantasy this year even before the season started was Miles Bridges. So far he's been killing it! We doubt he can keep up the top 10 performance, but if you drafted him in the 90s or the 100s, he could be this season's Terry Rozier.

Jalen Green finally got a nice game in for his managers, just as we were talking about hyped rookies underperforming in previous episodes. As with most of the rookies, it won't be smooth sailing, but games like this will definitely be nice!

Week 1 almost done and so far the hyped rookies have not yet lived up to fantasy managers' expectations. Well, except one - Evan Mobley. Many, including us, initially felt Mobley could be a late season stud. But so far in 2 games, he has been putting up great fantasy numbers and he could end up being the best fantasy rookie this season. What do you think?

Ja Morant and pretty much the whole Memphis starting 5 are giving solid numbers to us fantasy managers. Can he eventually break top 30 this season? It's actually to early to tell, but so far, Morant has been on the right path.

Norm Powell got hurt, we'll have to wait and see what the diagnosis is before making any drastic moves. Isaiah Stewart is still putting up subpar numbers. Is this the buy low window for Stewart? Finally, one of our favorites Chris Boucher was called out by Nick Nurse worse, he only played 8 minutes today.

With a bunch of games in today's slate, it was hard to talk about each game without keeping the episode under an hour. So we decided to go back to our format last season as we talk about the day's FBW (Feel Good Players, Buy Players and Worry Players). 

Myles Turner and Lonzo Ball led our Feel-Good team as they were joined by some oldies but goodies players like Al Horford, Ricky Rubio and Lamarcus Aldridge, Chris Paul and one of our favorites Kevin Love. 

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had another ugly fantasy outing and he leads the worrying player list. Actually, the whole OKC Thunders looked really bad and we are not quite sure if there is anyone in that line-up worthy of a fantasy roster spot. OG Anunoby and Fred Vanvleet also had another subpar outing and though we feel they can turn it around anytime soon, their poor FG% could be an annoying stat their owners have to deal with.

Sooo...after a dismal shooting debut the other day, Steph Curry made sure his managers will not regret picking him second or third in their drafts by scoring 45 points against the LA Clippers. He made 8 threes and shot 64% from the field. The 6 turnovers were a little too much, but hey, I don't think owners care. He also grabbed 10 rebounds! On the flip side, his supposed sidekick and the much hyped Jordan Poole fizzled a bit today and we talk about him as well in this quickie.

Paul George was good as advertised, leading the Clippers stat-wise. But the "surprise" of the night was Eric Bledsoe. Once a favorite fantasy stud, Bledsoe has had a couple of bad seasons the past 2 years. Will this be his re-emergence?

The rest of the slate were duds, but we still talked about some of the guys who did well. It's just that blowout games are hard to gauge, so we'll have to wait and see how the rest of the week pans out for the other four teams.

It was a wild day 2 in the NBA with 11 games on the slate! There were players who were ready to ball (Jaylen Brown, Lamelo Ball, heck even Chris Duarte!), players who tried to ball but just has not gotten the groove yet and those who we were really high on, but just made our fantasy day gloomy (Jayson Tatum, OG Anunoby, Fred Vanvleet, etc). But hey, it's just day 2 and there's still a lot of basketball left to play. Unlike yesterday's games, there wasn't really anyone that would make you panic or over-react to the point where you drop a valuable player on your team for a possible one game wonder.

The NBA is back! And that only means we are also back with our daily fantasy quickies! Today's double header showed some mid to late first rounders dominate the stat sheet and a couple of top picks put out "meh" stats that may worry their owners.

Lebron James showed why he is still the King while Giannis Antetokoumnpo proved to everyone that this could now be his league. Jordan Poole played up to his potential, but not without frustrating his owners early. Patty Mills showed flashes of "Kyrie" shooting-wise hitting 7 threes. The player that surprised many though was Nemanja Bjelica who made fantasy managers stop what they are doing and look for his availability on the wire. Is it an overreaction?

Here we go! The NBA kicked off their season with Media Day and we got a lot of player updates from injuries to vaccination status that could affect how we draft.

We all know the Kyrie Irving situation of being unvaccinated and could possibly miss half of the season if he decides to not vaccinate before the season. How does this affect his value in the draft? Should he be a stay-away kind of prospect? But, man, his stock is dropping too fast not to consider him though.

Bradley Beal and Andrew Wiggins are other big names that are unvaccinated. Does the value of Beal drop? Does Wiggins become undraftable?

On the injury front, we talk about Zion Williamson and his reported foot injury that could sideline him early this season. Where do you now consider drafting Zion?
